I saw this alongside Venom 2. As a I am a trans man it is probably not suprising to you to hear that my favorite marvel character is Venom. (my second favorite is spiderman) obviously i fucking ate this movie up and licked my plate and also tom hardy's sad wet pathetic little face. seriously he is so fucking pathetic looking for the entire movie??? just a fucking disaster of a man. what a mood. this movie rewrote my brain chemistry so much i based my first marvel oc off of this movie.

very pretty and very touching. every time i saw a capybara i clapped. i had a little enchanto capybara plush laying around somewhere and i like squeezing its tiny little fucking neck. this aint about the capybaras tho. as a older sibling the conflict of luisa, the of pressure to shoulder everyone's burdens, extremely relateable. i know a lot of people dont think they should have forgiven the grandma but this is a movie about hopefullness and forgiveness yaknow? you can heal from generational trauma.

speaking of favorite movies... uh.. this one is mine. yeah i know its stupid this isnt even a really good movie but lemme explain ok. when i was a sophmore in highschool i was going through a very bad breakup, my cat died, i was freshly trans, and the divorce of my parents was still a fresh wound. i was lost and scared and wanted away from a world that was quickly turning against me. then, in english class, my very eccentric teacher Mr Daumn showed the class this movie. i saw myself in max, instantly. it was like looking in a mirror. a little boy, too wild and emotional for anybody. quickly growning distant from his family and growing afraid of the future, running away from home and escaping into a fantasy land of his own creation. where his thoughts and feelings about himself and his family are monsters running wild. after seeing that movie, already looking for a new name, i changed my name to max. as of right now, im in a much better place, but i still see myself in max. a wild child who escapes into his own imagination to hide from reality and act out his problems with his imaginary friends. ..i should get a tattoo of him.

(i was supposed to put this a little later but i skipped a collum on accident. woopsie doodles! anyways) imagine if you were playing hades, but when you came back you had to babysit a group of massive dinguses who are barely any help most of the time. i pre-ordered this game! super exited to play it. the rogue-like parts of this game are super super good and really addicting, but the farming-sim parts of the game are lacking, and they were very buggy at the start. i put a lot of hours into the game but came away feeling a little disapointed. (update: i came back to this game a year later, all of the bugs i had problems with have been patched and theres a little more to do! i ended up basically completeing the farming sim part of the game before i even got to the 3rd boss. hope they add more farmsim stuff soon)
